Who we are

Data we collect

• Account details: your email address and password (passwords are handled by our authentication provider), or your Google account email if you use Google sign-in.
• Public profile information (stage name, casting attributes, photos, showreel links).
• Private details you provide (such as contact and emergency-contact information), held separately and never shown on your public profile.
• Verification documents, only if you choose to verify your identity.

Purpose and lawful basis

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, collected when you save your profile, to operate your casting profile and the service (Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023).

Identity verification and minimization

Verification accepts PAN, passport, or driving licence only — we do not collect Aadhaar. The submitted ID image is used solely for the verification decision and is purged immediately after that decision. It is never shown on your public profile.

Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. Private details are retained only as needed for the purposes described here.

Sharing

Your public profile is, by design, publicly visible. Private details are not shared publicly. We use processors (hosting, image processing, content moderation) to operate the service and do not sell your personal data.

Your rights

• Access and export the data we hold about you.
• Correct your data.
• Delete your account, which purges your stored data.

Minors

Profiles of minors require verifiable guardian consent, and the comfort/consent section is disabled for minors.

Security

We re-process uploaded images and strip embedded location metadata, deliver private media through checked, expiring links, and restrict access to private data.
